What is Vaping?
Vaping involves the inhalation and exhalation of aerosol, commonly called vapor, emitted by electronic devices like e-cigarettes or vape pens. These devices heat a liquid solution containing nicotine, flavors, and various chemicals, producing the aerosol that users breathe in. Despite its portrayal as a smoking alternative, vaping raises significant concerns due to potential health risks. Of particular worry is its popularity among young individuals, who may be unknowingly exposing themselves to harmful substances. We must closely examine the implications of vaping on public health, especially among the youth, and address the potential long-term consequences that might arise from this increasingly prevalent practice.
